McDonnell Douglas Corp.’s Information Systems Group in Irvine said Rich Heimann has been named vice president of the group’s Field Service Co.
Heimann, formerly director of distributed systems operations at McDonnell Douglas Health Systems Co. in St. Louis, will supervise about 500 field engineers and support personnel in more than 100 offices. He will replace Curt Miller, who left the company.
Formed in 1985, Field Service Co. services computer hardware and related equipment.
