Local News in Brief : 2-Car Collision Kills Canoga Park Woman

Canoga Park woman was killed early Thursday when her car was struck by a truck whose driver had run a red light, Los Angeles police said.

Stephanie Huyuh Phan, 31, was northbound on De Soto Avenue when her car was hit at 3:35 a.m. by a truck driven by Anthony Anderson, who was eastbound on Oxnard Street, police said.

Anderson, 18, was taken to Canoga Park Hospital with a separated shoulder and a cut lip and scalp. A police spokesman said no charges had been filed against Anderson, but an investigation was continuing.
