A 25-year-old Marine corporal was charged Friday by military authorities with second-degree murder and possession of an illegal firearm in the shooting death Monday of a fellow Marine.
John Bisiules was charged in the death of Lance Cpl. Darrel K. Manley, 20, of Milwaukee, who died of a single gunshot wound. The shooting occurred in a barracks in the Camp Horno area of Camp Pendleton. Bisiules allegedly shot Manley under his right armpit with a .357 magnum. Bisiules remains in custody at the Camp Pendleton brig.
