Mrs. V a 2 1/2-Length Winner in Feature Race at Santa Anita

Mrs. V led all the way to win the $33,000 feature race by 2 1/2 lengths over Silk’s Lady before a crowd of 17,993 Friday at the Oak Tree meeting at Santa Anita.

Mrs. V, ridden by Frank Olivares, finished the mile allowance race for filles and mares in 1:36 4/5 and paid $17.20, $8 and $5.80. The victory was worth $18,150.

Silk’s Lady, ridden by Laffit Pincay, was 3 1/2 lengths ahead of Miss Endicott and paid $5 and $3.80.

Miss Endicott, with Aaron Gryder aboard, paid $4.20 to show.
