Watt Completes Medical Facility in Record Time

Watt Investment Properties Inc. has completed a 55,000-square-foot specialty medical building at the entrance of Torrance Business Park, two months ahead of schedule.
The three-story built-to-suit structure was leased to Bay Shores Medical Group on a 20-year, $20-million lease contract. The medical group has occupied the building since September, before the dedication of the building.
Watt Investment acted as general contractor for both the building shell and tenant improvements and used a fast track program to speed construction along from grading to occupancy in just nine months.
