Author Austin’s Life to Be Dramatized on PBS

The life of author Mary Austin will be dramatized on public television May 25 in “Land of Little Rain,” a presentation of “American Playhouse.”
The hourlong program stars Helen Hunt as Austin, who wrote about American Indians and other aspects of life in the Southwest at the turn of the 20th Century.
