Police were searching Wednesday for a man who threatened a clerk with a switch-blade knife at a film-processing business and then made off with about $300 from the cash register, authorities said.
Police said a man wielding a knife approached a clerk at Fast Foto, located in the 16000 block of Brookhurst Street, about 7 p.m. Tuesday and demanded all the money from the cash register. The man then reached into the register and took the cash.
Police said the man then told the clerk to turn her back as he fled on foot. An investigation is continuing.
