Fair Got Bum Steer; Girl Forfeits Prize

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A teen-ager whose steer won grand prize at the Ohio State Fair will forfeit her ribbon and $28,000 following charges that the animal had been entered under another name in Illinois and its hide dyed to conceal the ruse.
The Ohio Expositions Commission on Thursday approved an agreement reached with the family of 17-year-old Susan Shealy, whose Angus-cross steer Hank won the blue ribbon in August.
