Did You Know That?: Just when you thought “Twin Peaks” had faded into the mist, along comes a paperback book titled “Twin Peaks: The Access Guide to the Town.” Within its 112 pages are facts such as that President Harry S Truman stopped in Twin Peaks, Wash., during a 1948 Presidential campaign trip and that the Twin Peaks telephone directory is indexed by first name rather than last. What isn’t noted is that the show’s two-hour finale Monday attracted meager ratings, trailing both CBS and NBC.
