Titan Recruit Decides to Sign With Cubs

Pioneer High School pitcher Hector Trinidad, who had signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Cal State Fullerton, signed a professional contract with the Chicago Cubs Wednesday.
Trinidad, a sixth-round draft pick of the Cubs, went 12-1 this season.
He will report to the Cubs’ rookie league team at Marshall, W.Va.
