Postal Firm to Sell Rights to Manhattan Franchise

Mail Boxes Coast to Coast Inc., a Glendale-based franchiser of Mail Boxes Etc. postal service stores, said it signed a letter of intent to sell its exclusive franchise rights for Manhattan in New York City for $700,000, to be paid over seven years. It did not disclose the buyer.
Mail Boxes Coast to Coast said the sale would cut costs and allow it to focus on developing its Los Angeles County franchises.
