Charles R. Wofford, 58, has been named president and chief operating officer of Farr Co. Wofford succeeds Allan B. Foy, who will continue as chairman and chief executive of the El Segundo-based company.
Most recently, Wofford served as a senior vice president of Texas Instruments’ Semiconductor Group. He was responsible for the operation’s support organization and the worldwide people and asset effectiveness strategy.
Farr is a leading producer of filters for particulate, liquid and gaseous filtration systems.
