Pacific Scientific Wins Boeing Deal: Pacific Scientific Co., an industrial and aerospace parts manufacturer based in Newport Beach, said Tuesday that it has received a contract from Seattle-based Boeing Co. to make fire detection equipment for the fleet of 747-400 aircraft. The value of the contract was not disclosed.
