Thrown Out of the Grove: Thomas F. Bradac acknowledged for the first time last week that he was forced from his job as artistic director of the Grove Shakespeare Festival. “I’m a bit angry at the way I was treated,” said Bradac, who founded Orange County’s second-largest professional theater troupe in the late ‘70s. Originally, Bradac said he had offered his resignation, citing unspecified “personal reasons.” But sources maintained that he had been forced out, largely because of trustees’ dissatisfaction with his performance as a fund-raiser.
