Bangladesh Orders Freeze on Ershad Bank Accounts

DHAKA, Bangladesh — The government has belatedly ordered banks to freeze all accounts used by deposed President Hussain Mohammed Ershad, his wife and Cabinet ministers, a bank executive and a newspaper said Sunday.
