SAN DIEGO--Museums, performing arts companies and other Balboa Park institutions open their doors for holiday festivities at the annual Christmas on the Prado, 5-9 p.m. Friday-next Saturday. OAKLAND--The big man in the red suit is honored in the 13th annual Santa Parade, 2 p.m. Saturday. Entertainment and kids’ activities follow in Jack London Square, 3-9 p.m. The Holiday Magic Arts and Crafts Fair is in the square, noon-6 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. next Sunday. (510) 839-9000.
