Anaheim : Volunteers Sought for Commission Posts

The city is seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on several boards and commissions.
Openings will exist on the Planning Commission, Community Redevelopment Commission, Community Services Board, Housing Commission, Public Utilities Board and Senior Citizen Commission. Members are appointed by the City Council.
The council will also create an Investment Advisory Commission that will meet quarterly with the city treasurer to review Anaheim’s investments and plan the city’s investment strategies.
This new commission will consist of seven members who live or work in Anaheim and have a background in finance or investments. Appointments will be for four-year terms.
