Edward Neisser, 90, former president of the California State Assn. of Life Underwriters. Neisser, who worked for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Los Angeles from 1931 until his death, had served in all elective offices of the state insurance agents’ group before he was chosen president in 1959. He had earlier served as president of the Los Angeles Life Underwriters Assn. During his long career, Neisser worked with all seven presidents of Massachusetts Mutual Life and had worked with every agent its Los Angeles office employed. He recently completed a course of study to renew his license as a certified life and disability insurance underwriter. On Thursday in Los Angeles.
