Residents may hear explosions or feel the ground shake this weekend and next week because of training exercises at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.
The blasts will be caused by 155-millimeter Howitzers firing into an impact center on the base. The Howitzers may be fired from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Friday and 10 p.m. to midnight Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
