Sinatra-Brand Italian Sauce Not to Her Liking
- Share via
The “They All Laughed” item in James Bates’ Footnotes column (Jan. 8) describes a new device to be placed in supermarkets. When a shopper walks by Sinatra-brand Italian foods, a motion detector will trigger the playing of 10 seconds of “New York, New York.”
Recently, I tried one of Sinatra’s Italian sauces. One serving to my family and it went directly into the disposal. The taste was horrible.
With Frank Sinatra’s voice assaulting me as I shop, I’ll find it even easier to avoid purchasing his products.
Hear this, Frank!
Your voice is delightful,
Your sauce is just frightful.
