The local chapter of the Lutheran Brotherhood gave more than $892,000 in 1995 to local members, the community, Lutheran congregations and Lutheran institutions.
In addition to the cash donations, volunteers associated with the brotherhood’s L.K. Lundring Agency donated 161,830 hours to help members of the community through Lutheran Brotherhood-sponsored projects.
More than one-third of the cash awards went for Lutheran college scholarships, seminary awards and endowment grants. Nationwide, the group gave $50.3 million to fraternal programs in 1995.
