The Placentia-Yorba Linda school board is expected to hear details tonight on the district’s safety plan for the year.
Safety plans are updated annually and must be approved by the board. This year’s is expected to reflect some changes made in light of outbreaks of school violence across the nation.
This year, the district will try to qualify for state funds earmarked for school safety in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Educational Services Center Building, 4999 Casa Loma Ave., Yorba Linda.
