Van Driver Dies After Striking Street Lamp

A Fullerton man died Saturday when he lost control of his van and hit a street lamp in the 1300 block of Yorba Linda Boulevard in Placentia, according to the Orange County coroner’s office. The motorist was identified as Isidro Galarza, 49. The accident occurred at 5 p.m.
