Caltrans kicked off a $9-million pavement rehabilitation project on the Ventura Freeway on Friday night, a plan that will close some lanes of the 101 Freeway for the next 25 weekends. Lanes will be closed on Fridays from 8 p.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday and from 6 p.m. Saturday until noon Sunday, excluding holiday weekends.
On Saturday mornings, three northbound lanes and three southbound lanes will be closed from Valley Circle/Mullholland Drive to Lost Hills Road. All will reopen at 11 a.m.
Starting at 6 p.m. today, between one and three northbound lanes will be closed along the same stretch, opening again at noon Sunday.
