From Staff and Wire Reports
Marin County officials are trying to figure out how to deal with gangs of wild turkeys on Mt. Tamalpais.
The annoying birds were the subject of a draft report by the state Department of Fish and Game that said relocation is one option. The department promised to work with local agencies to trap the birds and move them to a less-crowded area. In areas where the problem is severe, hunting will be the “first line of reducing unwanted turkey populations,” according to the report.
