* Jorge Torres, Montebello Schurr: Threw a one-hitter and had three hits, including a two-run home run, in a 9-0 victory over Cerritos in the Foothill/Newport Elks tournament.
* Mark Sarkissian and Tyler Fick, Newhall Hart: Sarkissian had two hits, including a three-run home run, and Fick gave up six hits and struck out seven in six innings as the No. 12 Indians upset No. 3 Woodland Hills El Camino Real, 9-1, in the Moorpark/Showdown tournament semifinals.
* Alex Gast and Josh Feldman, Woodland Hills Taft: Gast gave up two hits while striking out four in six innings, and Feldman drove in two runs in a 4-3 victory over Reseda in the San Fernando Valley tournament to end a 30-game losing streak.
BOYS’ GOLF
* Josh Perez, Villa Park: Had three birdies and finished with a two-under 33 in a 192-193 nonleague victory over Anaheim Esperanza at Yorba Linda Country Club.
