Re “The New Foreign Aid: Haiti,” second in a four-part series, April 18
I was reading your article about the benefactor Dieuseul Lundi and the tens of thousands of dollars he has sent and taken back to Haiti. A very inspiring story until I came to the part where it says he has 16 children by several different women. That changed him from a hero to a chump in my opinion.
Haiti is a disaster because the island cannot support the population that it has, or even the population that it had 30 years ago. Whatever contributions Lundi has made have been wiped out by his irresponsible actions.
