Sprint sued by consumer group

Sprint Nextel Corp. was sued by a California nonprofit over claims that the company improperly overcharged data card customers for certain taxes and refused to issue refunds.
Sprint acknowledged mistakenly charging customers who had wireless network cards taxes and surcharges that should have been assessed on cellphones, the Utility Consumers’ Action Network said in a lawsuit filed Wednesday.
