As the NFL settles into its off-season, San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis has put his home in south San Jose on the market for about $2.45 million.
Found within the Silver Creek Valley Country Club, the two-story home occupies a corner lot of about half an acre with wide views of the surrounding mountains.
Living spaces include a family room, a formal dining room, a kitchen with breakfast nook, four bedrooms and 4½ bedrooms in more than 4,000 square feet. A pool, built-in barbecue and custom bar highlight the exterior features.
Davis, who owns multiple properties throughout California, purchased the home in 2012 for $1.98 million, property records show. Robert R. Fernandez of Atlas Realty is the listing agent. The full asking price is $2,449,888.
The tight end’s listing comes on the heels of 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith putting his home on the market at $2.988 million. Sited on close to 10 acres in the San Jose foothills, the three-story home features a movie theater, a pool and sweeping views of the surrounding area.
A Silver Creek home owned by former 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald, released by the team in December, came to market in January and currently lists at $2.95 million.
Davis, twice a Pro Bowler, hauled in 26 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns this season, his ninth with the 49ers. The 31-year-old is due to make $4.35 million next season, the final year of a six-year extension he signed in 2010.
