Football: City Section rankings going into seeding meeting

The City Section football seeding committee will begin deliberating at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning putting together playoff brackets. Under the rules, they will use the final Calpreps rankings to help place teams in spots. They cannot move up or move down a team more than two spots based on the rankings.
Here’s the final rankings going into the meeting for Division I:
1. Narbonne, 2. Birmingham, 3. Taft, 4. Garfield, 5. Crenshaw, 6. Dorsey, 7. Arleta, 8. San Pedro, 9. South Gate, 10. Sylmar, 11. Venice, 12. Banning, 13. Carson, 14. El Camino Real, 15. Palisades, 16. Hamilton, 17. South East, 18. Roosevelt, 19. Eagle Rock, 20. San Fernando.
Division II rankings
1. Los Angeles, 2. Hawkins (ineligible for playoffs), 3. Chatsworth, 4. Fairfax, 5. Canoga Park, 6. Jefferson, 7. Gardena, 8. Granada Hills, 9. Grant, 10. Cleveland, 11. Huntington Park, 12. Westchester, 13. University (ineligible for playoffs), 14. Rancho Dominguez, 15. Lincoln, 16. Washington, 17. Bernstein, 18. Bell, 19. Verdugo Hills, 20. View Park, 21. Poly, 22. Locke, 23. Santee.
Division III rankings

Three 16-team brackets will be chosen.
