Football: League principals to decide Downey-Dominguez game suspension
- Share via
Principals from the San Gabriel Valley League are scheduled to meet Tuesday morning to decide what to do about the Downey-Dominguez football game that was halted in the third quarter on Friday night because of stadium light issues.
Downey was ahead, 13-0, with six minutes left in the third quarter when the game was suspended.
Among the questions the principals must decide is when can the game be rescheduled or picked up? Or should Downey be awarded the victory?
Dominguez wants to keep playing.
