Girls’ basketball: Quarterfinal games set for Palisades tournament

The quarterfinals of the Palisades girls’ basketball tournament are set for Wednesday.
The championship bracket has Palisades vs. Oak Christian, 4 p.m.; Troy vs. Cajon, 5:30 p.m.; Chaminade vs. Valencia, 7 p.m.; Long Beach Millikan vs. Ventura, 8:30 p.m.
In games on Tuesday, Oaks Christian defeated Garces, 66-13. Sydney Boyer had 16 points and Katie Campbell 14.
Valencia defeated West Torrance, 68-38. Kayla Konrad had 18 points.
Millikan defeated Marlborough, 65-21. Tyler Frierson had 18 points and Mia Beluin 16.
Ventura defeated Taft, 59-23. Aubrey Knight led Ventura with 22 points.
