Why the Y? Some Student Advantages

In your View section you proclaim that “There’s Everything From A to Z” at the new downtown YMCA. Good! But what about overnight accommodation? The article doesn’t list this.
I went overland to Washington, D.C., in 1984 and planned to stop at the Y’s along the way, but I found very few with overnight accommodation. This appears to be the trend. So that the YMCA has now become nothing more than an athletic club for the young businessmen about town, alas!
