United to Offer Daily Flights From John Wayne to Denver

NEWPORT BEACH — United Airlines said Tuesday it will begin scheduled service Aug. 1 from Orange County to Denver in a service expansion. On June 7, the carrier will add a third nonstop flight to Chicago from John Wayne Airport.
The Denver flights will depart from the county at 6:55 a.m. and 2:40 p.m., arriving at 10:02 a.m. and 5:47 p.m. in Denver. The morning flight will operate daily; the afternoon flight will operate Mondays through Saturdays.
United, which also has four daily flights to San Francisco from Orange County, did not announce a schedule for the new Chicago flight.
