Don’t Forget the Vista

Many thanks for Kenneth Turan’s list of his favorite L.A. movie theaters (“My Favorite Movie Houses,” Calendar Weekend, Sept. 18). I’d like to suggest one more: the Vista in Silver Lake. The owners have done a spectacular job of restoring it to its original glory, along with upgrading the sound and projection to a state-of-the-art system.
Plus, I guarantee there is more leg room than any other theater in Southern California--at least four feet between your seat and the row in front of you! No more getting your feet stepped on or getting the back of your seat kicked during the show.
