Getting vibes via the Internet

I was sadly amused to see Times writer Maria Elena Fernandez describe a soi-disant psychic who “tunes in” over the Internet on the “energy and vibrations” of her suckers (sorry, clients) (“Advice From Beyond,” March 27).
What’s next, a factual interview with the Easter Bunny?
The article was a thinly disguised advertisement for a “psychic” who has no more supernatural ability than I do.
In fact, I am tuning in to the energy of the writer by just holding the newspaper. The vibrations are coming through ... I sense the word “gullible.”
Wait, a hundred bucks an hour? ... I sense the word “shill.”
