Northern California’s Capitola Art & Wine Festival celebrates 25 years

The seaside town of Capitola hosts more than 185 artists and 16 wineries at its annual fest, which turns 25 this year. Also: live music and food supplied by local restaurants and caterers.
When, where: Sept. 8 and 9 in Capitola Village at the Esplanade.
Admission: Free, but wine-tasting attendees must buy a wineglass for $5. Tastings, purchased with $1 tickets, are two to three tickets each.
